Stimulate cognitive abilities to prevent school failure

The main objective of this study was to measure the effects of musical practice on two aspects of student learning: cognitive development and school achievements. This study, based on a rigorous methodology (randomized trial), target pupils from modest or disadvantaged social backgrounds, with the idea to test the effectiveness of the practice of musical activities on the fight against early school difficulties and social and cultural inequalities.
